Begin by exploring Southern Utah University’s Graduate Program page to choose an area of study. Requirements and deadlines are specific to each program.
After choosing a program of study, the next step is to submit your graduate application. When completing the application process, applicants should begin to prepare application materials, such as official transcripts, reference information, and resume. Application materials are specific to each program.
Eligibility
Thank you for your interest in Southern Utah University’s Graduate Studies. We welcome applicants who hold a U.S. baccalaureate or an equivalent international degree from an accredited institution.
Graduate Application Steps
Begin your application
Southern Utah University’s Office of Graduate Admissions processes applications for admission. Prospective students can navigate their application portal to submit, review, or make changes to their online application. Apply online by visiting our application page.
Choose a Graduate Program/Endorsement or License and Submit Application Materials
Most additional materials can be uploaded within the online application or be emailed to gradapps@suu.edu. Official transcripts may be sent electronically through the National Student Clearinghouse, Parchment, E-Script or through your university. Be sure to list the email for Southern Utah University as gradapps@suu.edu.
Complete the Online Application and make sure to click the submit button.
Review Application Status
After completing the submission of your application, you can access your Student Experience portal to monitor its status. If you suspect that something has been received but not marked as resolved, please reach out to the Office of Graduate Admissions at gradapps@suu.edu or call 435-865-8665. The Student Experience Portal serves as an official communication channel for important deadlines and program FAQs for all students. Regularly check your portal to stay informed about the status of your application.Graduate Admission Types Include
Non-degree seeking admission is a graduate status allowing students to receive graduate credit for course work but who have not been formally admitted to a graduate degree program.
- Graduate non-degree credits
- Up to six non-degree seeking graduate credits within one semester are allowed with the approval of the program director. Acceptance as a graduate non-degree seeking student does not imply future admission to a degree program.
- Financial Aid
- Applicants admitted as graduate non-degree seeking students are NOT ELIGIBLE for financial aid. Graduate non-degree seeking students are assessed the graduate-level tuition and fees at the master’s level rate for all credits taken.
- Academic Eligibility
- Applicants must have earned a baccalaureate degree (or higher) from a regionally accredited college or university prior to enrollment as a graduate non-degree seeking student.
- How to Apply
- Apply online ($60 Application fee is non-refundable). Applicants only need to submit the application, fee, and transcripts (unofficial/official) showing baccalaureate degree earned.
To be granted full admission, applicants must hold the equivalent of a U.S. baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution. Read all graduate admission requirements for international students.
Students who are seeking readmission to graduate programs after an approved Step Out or who did not maintain continuous registration.
- You are returning after an approved Step Out
- You will be readmitted after completing the Step Out form. You will not be required to pay the $15 readmission fee.
- You have not maintained continuous registration
- If you have been out of school for more than three semesters (one calendar year), you must apply for admission as a returning student and pay the $15 readmission fee.

One of the most important steps in completing your application is ordering all of your official transcripts to make sure 麻豆果冻视频 receives them right away. Any delay could cause you to miss out on your desired start date, so order your transcripts today!
To order your transcripts, simply follow these steps:
- Begin with a list of all educational institutions for which you need official transcripts.
- Search for those schools using transcript ordering service provider links, below.
- You will need to create an account with the transcript ordering service provider once you have found your school(s) as listed above.
- Select Southern Utah University as the destination for your transcripts.

- You will need to pay for your order using a major credit or debit card. You may also need to provide consent (e-signature) and an email account for verification of the order and tracking notifications.
- Using your account, you will be able to log in to check the status of your completed order at any time.

Student Loans
Student loans are administered through the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships and are based on demonstrated financial need. The Financial Aid office provides information and assistance to prospective, new and enrolled graduate students.
Nondegree seeking students, licensure programs and endorsements are not financial aid eligible.
Federal Pell Grants
Federal Pell Grants are not eligible for students at the graduate or non-degree seeking level.
