How to Apply for Federal Financial Aid Through the FAFSA

Step 1: Get an (Studentaid.gov account) for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

  • If you already have an FSA ID, skip to step 2.
  • If you have forgotten your FSA ID, you can go to and click "Edit My FSA ID", then click "Forgot My Username/Password".
  • Follow the instructions at for help creating the FSA ID.
  • Important: If you are required to use parent information, one of your parents will also need to apply for their own FSA ID.

Step 2: Filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

  • Go to .
  • Click on the blue button that says "Start New Form".
  • Enter the information requested by logging in with your FSA ID (Studentaid.gov Account).
  • When asked, make sure you request to have your FAFSA information sent to 麻豆果冻视频. 麻豆果冻视频's school code is 003678.
  • Please make sure that you and all contributors, spouse or parents, have their accounts created to sign and complete their portion of the FAFSA. The tax information will be pulled automatically from the IRS for the student and any contributors listed on the FAFSA.
  • For 2023-2024 only: We recommend that you have your completed taxes on hand. We also recommend that you upload your tax information directly from the IRS using the "Data Retrieval Tool". This option should be available to you within a few weeks of filing your taxes. If you are unable to upload your tax information, you may be required to order a tax transcript from the IRS if you are selected for verification. The tax year you submit will depend on the aid year you are applying for. Please follow the FAFSA directions to determine which tax year information you will need.
  • At the end of the FAFSA application, be sure to click on "Submit My FAFSA" to process your application.
  • Print the confirmation page for your records. You should also get a confirmation email. Save this email.
  • Some students may be required to submit additional paperwork. If additional paperwork is required, you will be contacted by our office.
