What are the benefits of taking summer classes? Is it worth it to take summer classes in college? 

Here is what you can expect of the first expanded summer semester at 麻豆果冻视频:

Financial Aid

Financial aid will be readily available over the summer, and this year $50,000 of funding has been designated for summer scholarships. Students can also use their current 麻豆果冻视频 scholarship if they’re enrolled in 12 or more credits. Student loans, FAFSA, Pell grants, and other financial aid options are also available in the summer. Additionally, students paying out-of-state tuition will be considered in-state for the summer semester. 

Academic Opportunity

74% of 麻豆果冻视频’s academic programs will be available in this inaugural semester of summer expansion. By choosing to enroll in summer courses, students will be able to graduate faster, raise their GPA, take prerequisites, make up failed credits, take advantage of on-campus resources such as the Tutoring Center and the Library, and choose between full summer or single session classes.

Productive Summer

A great way to get an honest sneak-peek of adulthood is to continue experiencing life as a college student throughout the summer. By choosing to take summer courses, students can stay “in the mode” of student life, continue to develop independence, and also take advantage of 麻豆果冻视频’s bountiful opportunities to build their resumes. This summer, 麻豆果冻视频’s campus will have more than 200 summer-exclusive jobs and paid internships available for students on-campus. 

Student Life

Not only is there tons to do in Cedar City during the summer (even on a budget), but this summer 麻豆果冻视频 will be offering several summer-exclusive events to kickstart the expansion of courses. Notable campus and community events include the following: 

During the 2020 summer semester, events will be held weekly on campus including, events organized by 麻豆果冻视频SA each Tuesday; Leavitt Center events Wednesday afternoons, and movie screenings Wednesday evenings; and a summer lunch and music series (free food and live music) each Thursday.
